Catch-A-Call is the Internet phone line sharing solution! With Catch-A-Call, you will never miss another call (or fax) while online.

Using your phone company's call waiting service (required), Catch-A-Call allows you to receive phone calls and faxes while on the Internet, eliminating the need for a second phone line.

Now, use just one line for phone, Internet and Fax. No need for a second line. Never miss another call or Fax while online, because Catch-A-Call works with local Call Waiting service.

Here's how it's designed to work with Call Waiting: While you are online, Catch-A-Call detects a call-waiting tone. Catch-A-Call then rings like a phone and flashes a bright red light.

If you decide to answer, Catch-A-Call "flashes" the line automatically, putting the computer and ISP on hold. If you finish the call before the 10 to 30-second deadline, simply hang up and the Catch-A-Call will re-flash the line and your computer will reconnect to the ISP.

Remember, if you don't have Catch-A-Call, you miss the call altogether.

Catch-A-Call also is Voice Mail compatible, so if you decide not to answer, the call still will be answered by your telephone company voice mail system.

Catch-A-Call works with call waiting service to keep your line free so you can get important calls while on-line. When the unit rings, simply pick up the phone plugged into it and Catch-A-Call will put the Internet Provider on hold and connect the call waiting call for you. You can converse without getting disconnected, for a limited time; up to 30 seconds. If you remain on the phone longer, the computer or your ISP (Internet Service Provider) may end the connection. If you do stay on longer than that time, simply click "Refresh" or "Reload" and you will be reconnected to the Internet by your browser. The Catch-A-Call also features Distinctive Ring Capability. It will ring with the same patterns as your phone company's Distinctive Ring feature.

Catch-A-Call has been designed to utilize the call waiting service available through the phone company. While you're online, Catch-A-Call "listens" for the call waiting tones. When it detects a tone, it will ring, just like a phone and flash a bright red light. If you decide you wish to answer, simply pick up the phone and speak to the caller. Your connection is automatically placed on hold and will remain on hold until you're done talking. If you remain on the phone longer than 30 seconds, your computer or your ISP may drop the connection. However, the Catch-A-Call does not make that decision.

The Catch-A-Call is also compatible with Distinctive Ring Service. If you have this service, Catch-A-Call rings with the same ring tone pattern as the phone company's. Best of all, if you have a Call Waiting ID device, you can see who it is before answering. Catch-A-Call will switch the line for you automatically, putting the computer and ISP on hold for you. After you're finished with the phone conversation, simply hang up. If the computer has not yet disconnected, Catch-A-Call will switch the line and your computer will be reconnected to the ISP. If the computer has already disconnected, simply click on the "Refresh" or "Reload" button on the browser screen, and you're on your way again!

Remember, if you don't have Catch-A-Call, you miss the call altogether. Catch-A-Call is also VoiceMail compatible, so if you decide not to answer, the call will still be answered by your voice mail system (not an answering machine).
